3000W Anti-High-Reflection Fiber Laser Cutter for Gold & Silver Jewelry

Pure gold and pure silver aren't like standard stainless steel — they need a laser built for reflective precious metal, not a general-purpose cutter.

A compact 200×300mm enclosed cutter for pendants, name necklaces, charms and custom blanks. Send your material thickness and DXF drawing — we'll test your design before you order.

The real problem

Why pure gold and pure silver are harder to cut

Pure gold and pure silver do not cut like normal stainless steel. They reflect more laser energy, conduct heat faster, and the material cost is much higher. For a jewelry workshop, the real question isn't whether the laser can cut through the sheet — it's whether it can cut steadily, with less waste, and with an edge that doesn't create extra polishing work.

High reflectivity

Gold and silver reflect part of the laser energy instead of absorbing it. A standard source can still cut the odd test piece — but not day after day.

Fast heat conduction

Heat moves away from the cut line almost as fast as the laser delivers it. Get the power or speed slightly wrong and you'll see it right away — an incomplete cut or a rough edge.

No room for unstable cutting

This isn't scrap steel — it's priced by the gram. A burned edge or a reject part on gold sheet costs a lot more than the same mistake on mild steel.

After testing different precious-metal jobs, we don't recommend choosing a laser cutter for pure gold and pure silver by wattage alone. The laser source type, its protection against reflection, gas setting and tested parameters matter more than the number on the spec sheet.

The solution

Not a normal 3000W laser source

This machine isn't using a standard 3KW fiber laser source. It's equipped with a 3000W anti-high-reflection fiber laser source, which is more suitable for pure gold, pure silver, brass, copper-based metals and other reflective materials. For stainless steel or carbon steel, a standard laser source may be enough — but for precious metals, the laser source matters. You're not only buying power. You're buying a safer, more stable cutting solution for high-value material.

Real cutting samples for gold and silver jewelry

Before choosing a machine for pure gold or silver jewelry, most customers want to see the real cutting result first. These sample jobs give you a clearer idea of the edge condition, small details and hollow patterns on pendants, name necklaces, 925 silver pieces, K gold parts and brass accessories.

Is this the right fit?

Who is this machine made for?

Being upfront here saves everyone time — this machine is built for precious-metal jewelry work, not general sheet metal.

Good fit

  • Jewelry workshops
  • Gold and silver jewelry manufacturers
  • Custom name necklace factories
  • Pendant and charm production
  • Precious-metal sample development
  • Small-batch high-value metal cutting

Not the right fit

  • Large sheet metal cutting
  • Thick plate cutting
  • Engraving or marking only work

Machine details that affect cutting quality

For gold and silver jewelry cutting, the result isn't decided by laser power alone. The source, cutting head, worktable, cooling, fixture and gas setup all affect whether the cut is stable, clean and repeatable — these are the parts we normally go through with customers before confirming the configuration.

Fixture

Keeps thin sheet flat

Thin gold and silver sheet needs to stay flat — the fixture reduces movement and improves consistency.

Support after delivery

We don't just ship the machine and leave you to figure it out. Before shipment we can test your material and save reference parameters; after delivery you get:

  • Operation video & English manual
  • Parameter guidance for your material
  • Online training & remote support
  • Sample parameters before shipment
  • Spare parts support
  • 2-year warranty
Final cutting thickness depends on material purity, surface condition, design detail and assist gas. For pure gold and silver, we recommend testing your real material before order.
How the free test works

Test your material before you order

Send us your design and we'll check it first. Here's how the free cutting test works.

1

Send us your drawing, material and thickness — plus your edge quality requirement.

2

We test or evaluate the cutting solution for your material.

3

We send you cutting photos or video, with a recommendation.

4

We confirm the final configuration and quotation together.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a normal 3000W fiber laser cutter?
No. It uses an anti-high-reflection 3000W fiber laser source, specifically built to handle gold, silver, copper and other reflective metals more safely and stably than a standard 3KW source.
Can it cut pure gold and pure silver?
Yes — that's what this machine is built for, along with 925 silver, K gold and brass. It's not designed as a general sheet-metal cutter.
What thickness can it cut?
It depends on the material's purity, surface condition and your design detail. Rather than quote a single number, we recommend sending your real material for a test cut so you see actual results.
Can I test my own material first?
Yes. Send your material name, thickness and drawing file, and we'll evaluate or test the cutting solution and send you photos or video before you order.
Do you provide training?
Yes — operation video, an English manual, online training and remote technical support are all included, along with parameter guidance for your specific material.
Before you decide

Send your gold or silver design. We will check it first.

Don't order on a guess. Send us the drawing and material thickness, and we'll check it ourselves first — then tell you honestly what this machine can and can't do for your parts.
