The engineering behind opaque, repeatable glass prints
It starts with the printhead — then a strong white base, reliable white ink and a dead-flat hold do the rest. Each step maps to a specific part of the machine.

Industrial RICOH Gen6 printheads ×4
Four Japan-made RICOH Gen6 heads (six optional) drive the whole machine — one carries white, one varnish, the rest full color — so every layer lands in a single pass. Around 50% faster than Gen5-class heads, and built for continuous industrial duty.
- Up to 2800 dpi. Variable-droplet piezo control for sharp photographic detail and clean fine lines on glass.
- One-pass stack. Dedicated white, color and varnish channels mean opaque, sealed prints without re-loading the panel.

White + color + varnish, in one pass
On clear or reflective surfaces, CMYK alone is translucent. A thick, even white base goes down first so color stays saturated, then a clear varnish seals and protects it — all in a single pass.
- Fully opaque. Reds stay red and skin tones stay true on glass and mirror.
- Sealed & tactile. Varnish adds gloss, protection and raised 3D effects.

Closed-loop white circulation keeps heads healthy
Heavy titanium-dioxide white settles fast and clogs nozzles. Circulating, stirred white ink with dual-channel negative pressure and two-stage filtration (5 µm + 20 µm) keeps pigment suspended through long runs.
- No drop-out. Even white on reflective work, run after run.
- Less downtime. Auto cleaning and level alarm with refill keep production moving.

Dead-flat hold & production-grade motion
A four-zone vacuum platform holds heavy panels flat, while mag-lev linear-motor motion, auto media-height detection and anti-collision deliver repeatable output at production speed on media 1–100 mm thick.
- Repeatable. ICC color control reproduces the same result across a full batch.
- Head-safe. Auto height + anti-collision protect the heads on thick or uneven glass.
Built on imported, name-brand core parts
The parts that decide print quality and working life are sourced from established Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean makers — not unbranded substitutes.
Gen6 printheads ×4
Industrial heads (6 optional) for white, color and varnish — up to 2800 dpi, variable droplet.
X-axis high-speed rail
High-speed silent guide rail for smooth, accurate carriage motion across the panel.
Dual Y-axis linear rails
Twin precision rails keep the gantry square and stable over full-size glass.
Dual ball-screw drive
Dual ball-screws with 400 W servos deliver repeatable positioning, run after run.
UV LED curing ×2
Water-cooled Korean LED lamps cure ink instantly for hard, durable adhesion on glass.
White-ink filtration
5 µm + 20 µm filtration with circulation and stirring keeps white pigment suspended.
Hard-anodized vacuum bed
Four-zone platform with a 2200 W blower holds heavy glass and mirror dead-flat.
Gantry-milled frame
A heat-treated, gantry-milled steel frame stays rigid through long production hours.
Mag-lev linear motor
Magnetic-levitation drive (guide-rail + belt optional) for fast, quiet, hard-wearing motion.
Printheads, UV LED lamps, UV ink and filters are consumables and supplied on an ongoing basis.
Why choose a direct UV flatbed for glass & mirror
How it compares to other decoration methods, what stands behind the purchase, and how to size the right configuration.
Screen printing, vinyl and outsourcing all struggle on glass — weak opacity, high setup per design, and finishes that peel or fade. Here's how direct UV compares.
| Direct UV flatbed (Sismar) | Screen print / vinyl / outsourcing | |
|---|---|---|
| Opacity on glass/mirror | Dedicated white base — fully opaque | Weak or translucent; needs many screens |
| Detail & color | Up to 2800 dpi, full photographic CMYK | Limited tones, spot colors only |
| White + varnish | White + CMYK + varnish in one pass | Separate steps, or not available |
| Setup & MOQ | No plates — one-off to batch | Plates/screens per design, high MOQ |
| Short-run cost | Low — print on demand | High setup cost per job |
| Durability | UV-cured, scratch & fade resistant | Vinyl peels, paint fades |
| Materials | Glass, mirror, acrylic, metal, tile… | Material-specific, limited |
What stands behind it
Proven in production
Replace with a real installation: country, application (e.g. decorative glass), and configuration shipped.
A short, true customer story builds far more trust than specs. Add 2–3 once you can cite them.

Warranty & trade terms
1-year machine warranty
Covers the mechanical structure, electrical system, control system and ink-delivery system, with ongoing technical support after.
Flexible trade terms
EXW, FOB or CIF — choose the shipping arrangement that suits your import process.
Honest note on printheads
As across the whole UV printing industry, the printhead is a high-precision imported consumable with a finite life — not a warranty part. This applies to all industrial heads (RICOH, Epson, Kyocera). Typical life is 2–4 years depending on running hours, environment and maintenance; with correct white-ink care, heads reach the upper end. We state this openly — and full technical support is included regardless.

Common questions
Price varies by configuration — print format, printhead count (4/6/8) and ink channels all affect it. We quote against your actual job rather than a fixed figure: share your panel size, thickness and output volume and we price the right build with confirmed lead time.
Machines are built for international supply with CE and RoHS compliance for EU and US import, with documentation matched to your destination market before shipment.
Clear glass and reflective mirror are transparent to CMYK, so color alone looks washed out. A dedicated white base makes color opaque and saturated. This machine prints white, color and varnish in one pass, with closed-loop white circulation to stop pigment settling and clogging the heads.
For indoor decorative use, UV-cured prints on glass typically hold color for 3–5 years with strong fade resistance, and the cured ink resists scratching. A clear varnish top layer adds further gloss and protection.
