Dedicated Crystal Ball Production

3D Crystal Ball Laser Inner Engraving — 15–300 mm

Built for crystal ball production, with standard pieces taking about 1–2 minutes. It also engraves flat crystal blocks, with 2D, 2.5D and full 3D effects.

Engraving Effects

2D, 2.5D and 3D — what the difference looks like

The same machine produces all three. Which one you choose depends on the source file and the price point of the product.

2D

Flat image

A photo, logo or text engraved as a single flat layer. Send a JPG or PNG — the software converts it. The fastest option for souvenirs and branded gifts.

2.5D

Layered portrait

A photo built up in layers, so the subject reads with depth when viewed from the front. Still made from a normal photo — no 3D file needed.

3D

Full 3D model

A complete model that holds up from any viewing angle. Needs an STL, OBJ or 3DS file. The highest-value product of the three.

Who It Is For

Designed for crystal ball batch production

If crystal balls are a main product for you, this machine is built around how those orders actually run: one setup covers a whole batch, so the operator isn't reloading and re-positioning piece by piece.

A good fit for

  • Crystal gift and souvenir manufacturers
  • Personalized portrait, wedding and memorial products
  • Factories handling repeat or batch crystal ball orders
  • Studios moving crystal ball work in-house instead of outsourcing

Simple for a new operator

No previous laser experience is required. For standard jobs, the main engraving parameters are preset. The operator normally imports the file, chooses the size and effect, places the crystal, previews the position and starts engraving.

  • Detailed operation manual
  • Step-by-step setup and operation videos
  • Online setup guidance and remote troubleshooting

Consider another model if…

  • You only produce flat crystal — blocks, awards, photo cubes. The industrial flat machine is built for that. See the industrial flat model →
  • You need to engrave on-site at markets, malls or events. See the portable Mini Series →
  • You need surface marking or cutting — this engraves inside clear crystal and optical glass only
  • Every ball in a batch needs a different design — one batch runs one design
About 1–2 minutes per standard piece Actual time depends on the engraving size, point density and file complexity. Full 3D models take longer than standard jobs.
See How It Works

From a customer file to a finished batch

1

Import the customer file

Use a photo, logo, text design or 3D model and choose a 2D, 2.5D or full 3D effect.

2

Set the size and position

Adjust the design to fit the crystal, then confirm where it sits inside the material.

3

Load the crystal balls

Place several balls in the standard multi-ball fixture, or use the flat worktable for blocks and awards.

4

Preview and start the batch

Check the position and start. The machine controls the rotation and angle of each ball and completes the loaded batch.

Supported files: JPG and PNG for photos, portraits, logos and text; STL, OBJ and 3DS for full 3D models.
Why This Machine

Set up once, engrave a full batch

BALL FIXTURE PHOTO

Engrave several balls in one setup

The multi-ball fixture is standard. Load several balls, set the job once, and the machine engraves the loaded batch with the same design — how many fit depends on the ball diameter. It controls rotation and angle for balls from 15–300 mm.

Flat crystal products too

When a customer also orders blocks, cubes or awards, the same machine handles flat crystal products up to 320 × 450 × 150 mm.

Can it engrave both crystal balls and blocks?

Yes. The standard multi-ball fixture holds several balls at once and controls the rotation and angle of each one, so a whole batch runs from a single setup. For blocks, cubes and awards, the same machine uses the flat worktable.

What crystal ball sizes can it process?

It processes crystal balls from 15 mm to 300 mm in diameter (common sizes: 50, 60, 80, 100, 150, 280 mm). For flat crystal, the engraving area is up to 320 × 450 × 150 mm.

Can it engrave several crystal balls in one batch?

Yes. The multi-ball fixture is included as standard. Load several balls, set the job once, and the machine engraves the loaded batch with the same design. How many fit depends on the ball diameter — tell us your size and we'll confirm.

Can it make 2D, 2.5D and 3D effects?

Yes. Photos, logos and text can be processed for 2D or layered 2.5D effects. STL, OBJ and 3DS files can be used for complete 3D models.

How long does one crystal take?

A standard portrait or design normally takes about 1–2 minutes. Actual time depends on the engraving size, point density and file complexity.

Does the operator need laser experience?

No previous laser experience is required. Most standard jobs use preset parameters. We provide a detailed manual, operation videos and online guidance.

Can I engrave from a normal photo?

Yes. Send a JPG or PNG photo — the software converts it to point data. You don't need a 3D file. For full 3D models, STL, OBJ, and 3DS are supported.

What crystal material should I use?

High-purity optical crystal such as K9 gives the best clarity and engraving quality. It also works on optical glass.

Is the software included?

Yes. The point-cloud and engraving software is included, and we provide training on both plus long-term technical support and software updates.

What training and warranty do you provide?

Online or onsite training, a 1-year whole-machine warranty, and long-term technical support. After training, an operator can run standard jobs on their own.
