3D Crystal Laser Inner Engraving Machine — Built for Production

A 3W industrial green laser that engraves photos and 3D models inside crystal at 4,000 points per second. Two sizes, up to 300 × 400 × 130 mm — for studios that take orders and have to deliver.

Why This Machine

A workshop machine, not a desktop unit

This is a fixed production machine. It sits in your workshop and runs jobs — portraits, logos, 3D models — back to back. The engraving software runs on a connected computer, and the laser is air-cooled, so there's no chiller to drain or maintain between jobs.

The 3W industrial green laser writes at up to 4,000 points per second. Actual time per piece depends on the engraving size, point density, and detail — a small portrait and a full 3D model are not the same job. Send us your photo or file and we'll test the real production time before you order.

It comes in two engraving sizes, the larger taking pieces up to 300 × 400 × 130 mm — well past what a desktop machine can hold. That headroom matters when, say, a wedding studio sends a batch of portraits or an award company orders a run of trophies.

More engraving space

The larger working area holds bigger portrait blocks, awards, group photos, and full 3D models that don't fit a small desktop range.

Repeatable workflow

Save the file and parameters after the first job. When the same product is ordered again, the operator reuses them instead of starting over.

No separate water chiller

The laser is air-cooled. Nothing to plumb, no cooling water to prepare, no chiller to service alongside the machine.

Two Engraving Areas

Choose the size that fits your products

Both models share the same 3W laser, software, speed, cooling, and structure. The only difference is the engraving area.

Standard

Model A

200 × 200 × 120 mm
Maximum engraving area

Choose Model A when the image you want to engrave fits within this area.

Examples
  • Portrait crystals
  • Crystal balls
  • Awards and trophies
  • Standard gift blocks
Large format

Model B

300 × 400 × 130 mm
Maximum engraving area

Choose Model B when you need more width, height, or depth.

Examples
  • Large crystal blocks
  • Group portraits
  • Large trophies
  • Full 3D models

The engraving area is the image size — not the crystal size

These figures are the maximum area your image can occupy inside the crystal — not the outside size of the blank. The chamber is large, so the main thing to match is the engraving size you need. Tell us that size and we'll recommend the model.

Crystal inner engraving is hard to judge from one still photo. These videos show the portrait detail, internal depth, and viewing effect as each piece is turned.

Software & Workflow

The machine uses two software programs

One program prepares the engraving data; the other sets the job and controls the machine.

1. Point-cloud software

Converts a prepared photo or 3D model into the point data the laser uses for internal engraving. Here the operator checks the image, adjusts point density, and previews the result before sending it to the machine.

POINT-CLOUD SOFTWARE

2. Engraving software

Imports the point data and sets the final engraving size, position, depth, and direction. The operator checks the job settings here, then starts the engraving.

ENGRAVING SOFTWARE
A computer is required. Training covers both programs — file preparation, positioning, and parameter setup. After training, an operator can prepare standard portrait jobs, set the engraving position, and run repeat orders on their own.
How It Works

From a source file to a finished crystal

01

Prepare the source file

Start with a portrait photo, logo, text design, or 3D model. A high-resolution photo with a clear subject gives a better portrait result.

02

Prepare the point data

Open the file in the point-cloud software. Check the model, point density, and visible detail before exporting the data.

03

Set the engraving job

Import the data into the engraving software. Set the width, height, depth, direction, and position inside the crystal.

04

Position the crystal

Place the crystal on the worktable or fixture, then confirm the internal image will engrave in the right place.

05

Start engraving

The 532nm green laser writes point by point inside the crystal at up to 4,000 per second. The outer surface stays unchanged.

06

Inspect and save the job

Check the finished crystal from the front and sides. Save the file and settings — they can be reused for repeat orders to cut preparation time.

Who It's For

Is this the right machine for your work?

Good fit

  • Crystal gift studios handling regular custom orders
  • Award and trophy makers producing personalized pieces
  • Photo studios offering portrait crystals and memorial gifts
  • Crystal wholesalers and OEM suppliers
  • Businesses that need a larger engraving area than a desktop machine provides

Consider another model if…

  • You need to engrave on-site at markets, malls, or events — at ~260kg this machine is built to stay in the workshop. See the portable Mini Series →
  • You need surface marking, cutting, or drilling — this engraves inside the material only
  • You mainly work with metal, wood, or stone — it engraves clear crystal and optical glass
  • You need a fully automatic line — an operator loads and positions each piece

Frequently Asked
How fast does it engrave?

The laser writes at 4,000 points per second. Time per piece depends on the image detail and crystal size, but batch orders move quickly compared with a desktop machine.

What's the largest piece it can engrave?

Model A engraves up to 200×200×120 mm; Model B up to 300×400×130 mm. Both engrave inside the crystal, so the piece needs to fit within the work area.

Do I need to make the 3D files myself?

For photos, no — send the photo and the software converts it to a point cloud. For full 3D models, you can supply your own file, or we can prepare it for you. We also provide the software and can train your team to make 3D files in-house.

Does it need a water chiller or a computer?

No chiller — the laser is air-cooled, with nothing to plumb or maintain. It does run from a connected computer: the point-cloud and engraving-control software prepares and runs each job.

Will it run on our voltage?

Yes. It's available for both 110V/60Hz and 220V/50Hz. Tell us your country and we'll ship it set for your power.

What materials can it engrave?

K9 crystal and optical glass. It engraves 2D photos, 2.5D relief, and 3D models inside the material. For other materials, send us a sample and we'll test it first.

How is it shipped, and how heavy is it?

The machine weighs about 260 kg and ships in a wooden crate of roughly 81 × 123 × 139 cm. Please have suitable unloading equipment ready when it arrives — it's a fixed workshop machine, not a portable unit.
