About tempered glass: inner engraving is normally carried out on non-tempered glass — the internal stress in tempered glass can react to subsurface engraving. Tempered, laminated, coated, or curved glass should not be treated as a standard application. Send us the glass size, thickness, material, and requirements, and our technical team will evaluate the project before recommending a configuration.
How the machine covers a full panel
A single galvo scan field is small. Covering a 4-metre panel is a combination of gantry movement, galvo scanning, and software that stitches the sections together.
Engraved below the surface
The 532nm green beam passes through the outer face of the glass and releases its energy at the focal point inside, forming fine points that build the image. The surface stays smooth — nothing is cut, etched, or raised on the outside, so there's no polishing afterward and nothing to wear away.
Gantry, galvo, and stitching together
The gantry carries the head across the panel; the galvo does the fast local scanning; the software divides the design into sections and stitches them seamlessly. That combination is what lets one design span a full-size panel instead of a small fixed field.

Import or lay out your design in the software. DXF, OBJ, JPG, and BMP are supported.
Set glass size & position
Enter the panel size and place it on the table. The layout is mapped to the glass.
Preview & divide
Preview the layout and let the software divide it into sections for the panel.
Engrave section by section
The machine engraves each section and stitches them into one continuous design.

The maximum engraving range is 2000 × 4000 × 100 mm. Tell us your panel dimensions and we'll confirm they're within range for your project.
White glass, green glass, float / common glass, low-iron architectural glass, and K9 crystal glass — all non-tempered. Flat, clear, bubble-free glass gives the cleanest result.
Yes. It engraves 2D images and full 3D designs inside the glass, with backside, 180°, and 360° engraving modes. The software handles large 3D models through point-cloud editing.
The platform uses air flotation — the glass floats on a cushion of air, so a full-size panel can be moved into position without scratching the surface.
Yes. We provide setup guidance, operation and software training, manuals, and video support, with remote technical help afterward. On-site installation and technician support are available for factory clients.
